Hello Everyone!

It has been a while since I've posted here, but we have many updates to deliver!
I receive calls about once a day asking for our products.  As many of you know, we took a selling hiatus as our farm moved from Cobb County to Polk County!  We moved from 10 acres to 135 acres!  We have made many changes on our farm, and all of these were carefully thought out in order to give you the best experience possible.  Please follow the blog, and watch for us to start offering MANY more products within the next month!  And rest assured, we will still make it convenient for our customers in the Marietta area!

Thank you for your continued support, and for your shared excitement in our growth!  Stay tuned!

Updated Schedule for end of June and early July

Hi Everyone!  We will be working out our farm move soon, and we also have some Farm Bureau trips coming up.  We will be gone for the first half of July, and friends will be staying at and running our farm.  So, for the next two weeks (June 19 and 26th) we'll offer pick up here at the farm on Tuesdays.  There will be no pick ups July 1-15.  Starting July 16th, pick ups will be:
Monday- West Cobb Chiropractics 10:15-11:15
Fridays- Clock Tower in Marietta (time TBD)
Saturdays- Riverside Roswell Market 8-12
THANK YOU for working with us while we pack, work on getting moved, and rearrange our schedule so that we can make it all work.  We don't expect our transition to take more than a month, and we will continue to get your farmgoods to you in the meanwhile.

UPDATE: Pick Up Locations!

Hi Everyone!

Because we are transitioning to a MUCH bigger farm (over 12 times bigger!), and because we still want to make pick ups convenient for you, we have designated 4 pick up locations throughout the week where you can come pick up farm goods!  The pre-order system had some bugs in it, so we are going to treat each drop-off point as a "first come, first serve" pick up!  We will bring our inventory, and if it's there when you arrive, it's available for purchase!

Please subscribe to this blog and find us on Facebook in order to take advantage of weekly specials!
*please bare with us throughout our move and transition.  We are changing our drop off locations to better serve you. If you need to reach us, please email us at vaagen@bellsouth.net, or call/text (404) 610-1540.  Thank you!*

MONDAY- Maximized Living West Cobb Chiropractic.  5041 Dallas Highway, Suite 500, Powder Springs, GA  30127. 10:15-11:15 am

More about our beef...

About Our Animals...
Our cows graze happily on grass all day!  Our farm is structured in such a way that each cow has at least an acre to roam and graze.  Our cows play with our goats, and graze alongside their calves.  We raise animals the way God intended.  They are never given hormones or antibiotics.

About the Processing...
We chose a USDA inspected and monitored processor that will deal with our animals in a very specific way.  The animal is the only one in the facility when it is butchered.  It was important to us that our cows were not watching other cows be slaughtered.  The cows are knocked out in a very humane way, and they feel no pain in the process.  Because our animals are all BIG PETS, we could not have chosen a harsh process!

About the Shipping...
Once the animals have been slaughtered, they are dry-aged for a number of days.  The meat is then cut, trimmed, cleaned and labelled in airtight, vacuum-sealed, freezer-ready packages.  If we are shipping your meat to you, we then arrange your order in a styrofoam cooler with dry ice, and ship it to you!  We will go over your shipping options with you, and will always ship it at cost.  We recommend second day service to get your meat to you in the fastest most cost efficient manner possible!
